Sul foglio dove c’è scritta la canzone, in pedice c’è il ringraziamento al Flaming Colossus, il famigerato bar notturno delle celebrità; inoltre riporta in vita il personaggio di The fly, presentandolo stavolta come uno più simpatico che se ne va in città e se ne torna a casa all’alba come un’anima persa.Si tratta di una canzone che parla di ambizioni da ubriaco, dice Bono…e lui conosceva bene il personaggio a proposito del quale stava scrivendo. Questa canzone è invece un piccolo gioiello pop dai marcati toni surrealistici che culminano nell'immagine di Dalì che spinge un carrello al supermercato cercando di far "passare un maggiolone decappottabile per la cruna di un ago" e nella citazione del notissimo slogan femminista " la donna ha bisogno dell'uomo quanto ilpesce di una bicicletta".
